Our client’s basement was lacking warmth and function. Their wish list included plenty of seating room to cozy up and watch television, space for a future piano, keep their guest room and add an office. A tall order – but we came through! We added a custom barn door to separate the living room and the guest bedroom, which not only fit the aesthetic, but allows for so much more open space. We custom designed cabinetry for beside the fireplace to provide ample storage for all the things. A new moody color palette and all new furnishings finished this space off. In the guest bedroom we took advantage of the unused closet to make a space for the home office. Beauty AND function.
